Monday 7-9-12
We spent the morning at a workshop on GIS. It covered the uses of the software taught by UNT.
Through the afternoon we worked on our TechFest plan. We decided to have our participants drive the “Hammerbot” around a flowchart on the ground and answer questions based on a card they received to start the program. Once they complete it, they will get to try again (if they didn’t get to smash anything) or smash a small lego build. What kid- or adult- wouldn't want to bust things up with a LEGO car?
