We spent the morning updating google docs and our blog, and looked through other NXT projects that will be the most engaging for young students at TechFest.
We attended a seminar on weblab presented by one of our cohorts.
We met with Prof. Namuduri and the undergrads working on the Garcia robots to determine where we go from here. By the end of the week, the robot should be able to drive down the corridor and avoid an obstacle. By the end of next week, two robots should be able to communicate.
We settled on creating the “hammer car” as described on NXT Programs. We will modify it however to make it remote controlled. It should be quite engaging.
